Consistent with the Dow's increase from about 2,000 to 2,500 last year, an increase of 25%, the median price of an Aspen single family home went up from about $5M to $6.25M or 25%. A much more significant increase was revealed with the total Aspen dollar sales volume for 2016 versus 2017. 2016 was about $622M and 2017 was $1.187B or an increase of 90.84%. Snowmass Village was significantly lower with an small increase of 7.31%. Basalt showed a small decrease of -3.79% and Carbondale showed a good increase of 15.84%.
